The Auburn Auction Preview – Worldwide Auctioneers

1927 Duesenberg Model Y Phaeton – Estimate Unavailable.Worldwide Auctioneers will hold The Auburn Auction on Saturday, September 5th, 2009 at the Worldwide Headquarters in Auburn, Indiana.

The second annual The Auburn Auction, as part of the Auburn Cord Duesenberg Weekend, will feature 80 cars for the single-day event, headlined by the 1936 Delahaye 135 Competition Long Wheelbase Disappearing Top Convertible, 1927 Duesenberg Model Y Phaeton, the Robert Merrifield Collection of Rolls-Royce and Packards, in addition to a strong gathering of classic automobiles.

The Auburn Auction will take place at Worldwide Auctioneers’ corporate Headquarters in Auburn, Indiana, on the evening of Saturday, September 5th, as part of the celebrated and long established Auburn Cord Duesenberg Weekend. Worldwide will have a full day auction preview on Friday, September 4th, from 10am to 5 pm and on Saturday, September 5th at 10am to 5pm. Admission to this sale requires the purchase of the auction catalog for $75, which will admit two. Bidder registration is $150, which includes catalog and VIP seating for two.

<strong>1936 Delahaye 135 Competition Long Wheelbase Disappearing Top Convertible – Estimate Unvailable. </strong>One-off Figoni et Falaschi coachwork; judged three times at 100 points; numerous Best of Show; Premier Winner and Winner of CCCA's Paul Cerf Memorial in May 2009.
