The Sportscar Vintage Racing Association’s Spring Vintage Weekend will open the 2015 racing season at Elkhart Lake’s Road America this weekend, May 15-17. The meeting will feature a wide variety of machinery from multiple marques, including many that have made history at the Indianapolis 500, in Formula One, with Grand-Am prototypes and in the Trans-Am. Cars badged Chevrolet, Ford, Ferrari, Porsche, Jaguar, MG and more will contest a dozen different classes of racing over the course of the weekend.
Gates will open to the public each day at 7 a.m., and all races will run rain or shine. New for 2015, any student can show their ID at the gate to get $10 off the ticket price, and as before, kids 12 and under are admitted free when accompanied by a paying adult.
