  1. I am highly disappointed in the reception that our factory 1982 Werks 911CS Turbo Flachbau received from a group who labeled their event ” Porsche Werks Reunion”. Considering the rarity of this automobile, one has to wonder if you even knew what you were looking at. Try finding an original 1982 Factory works car in the States, for that matter, try looking for a duplicate one anywhere. We didn’t even rate a Photo shot ‘ guess we weren’t “Porsche ” enough.

  2. Eugene all photos of cars at Werks Reunion have been done by independent parties and not by any of the organizers of the event. Sorry to hear you think you were mistreated. With over 500 cars attending Not every car could be in the spotlight.

    1. I learned long ago that there are two things for certain with how much attention you’d get for a specific car. (1) Its rarity: Rare cars is only something defined by “insiders”, but keep in mind that viewers (and judges) are generally selected and defined by a “peanut gallery” (2) Its performance. While one specific performance for one car might be ideal for a specific kind of use, don’t be surprised that a specific car that would perform terribly across the board win in a certain class. I did hear that one of the greatest difficulties with one winner over another would be lack of information on how your car did vs. the car that won. I believe rating of cars is based on a pure subjective manner with some stable measured criteria. So go ahead and show up with a 924 with a sunroof and beat that ultra rare 911R. The only way to really tell what is the “best” Porsche is putting it on a track using the same driver performing identical wins on any drive for its class. .
