Concorso Italiano 2026 Yields Largest Field Ever

41st iteration puts the “Amore” into Car Week

Concorso Italiano returned to Bayonet Black Horse Golf Course in Seaside on Saturday, August 15, running from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. and drawing nearly 600 registered vehicles for its 41st year. Set against Monterey Bay, the event brought together collectors, enthusiasts, industry leaders, and families for one of Monterey Car Week’s anchor gatherings, with the day built around the spirit of La Dolce Vita and filled with Italian cuisine, live music, fashion, and art.

The show field spanned the marques that have defined the event for four decades, including Abarth, Alfa Romeo, Bizzarrini, De Tomaso, Ferrari, FIAT, Iso, Lamborghini, Lancia, and Maserati, alongside the Global Exotics section reserved for notable machines from outside Italy.

This year’s edition centered on two milestone celebrations. The Alfa Romeo Spider Duetto marked its 60th anniversary, with close to 50 examples gathered as Concorso Italiano served as the first official stop of Duetto Day, a program organized with Pininfarina and the Monterey Motorsports Festival. Ducati served as the event’s featured marque in honor of its 100th anniversary, with motorcycles spanning the brand’s history on display, including a Panigale 1199 R, a limited-edition Diavel Lamborghini, and a Streetfighter Lamborghini V4.

The scale of this year’s collaboration reflected the event’s four-decade run, bringing together a wide range of respected organizations, brands, and individuals for the show. The duPont REGISTRY joined as a partner, and returning names like Lamborghini test driver Valentino Balboni appeared on the grounds throughout the day.

As the afternoon wound down, a hypercar and supercar parade departed the grounds and made its way to the Monterey County Fairgrounds, linking Concorso Italiano directly to the evening’s Monterey Motorsports Festival and continuing a night of programming that carried Car Week’s Italian celebration well past sunset.
