  2. The Tour does showcase the elegance of the automobile in motion but the impetus was the criticism of the Pebble cars being “under glass” or trailer queens”. This criticism did create a great addition to the Concours which gives the public a realistic and free view of the cars.

  6. What a fabulous expose’ of these cars. Thanks for sharing with those of us who did not have the opportunity to attend this spectacular annual event.
    We could have a lot of fun captioning the photo of the 1908 Benz Prinz Heinrich and its occupants, as it barrels down highway 1, the drivers hand fittingly on the Ebrake and the navigator holding his hand as if to say help or “brakes, brakes”….

I enjoyed the gallery of celebrity cars taking people in high fashion to all of there destinations in all parts of the world.Preservations of these chariots reminds me of the past,present&future. The interaction of time bring people to gather to celebrate the wonders of modern transportation combing art and science. Thank You to all the automobile collectors for the opportunity to capture a glimpse of the years past,present and future.
