  1. Before any comments on the limited number of camera placements let me say that the event was a one day event. I chose the three placements to give the best view of the cars in transition in the time I had to shoot. By mid afternoon the cold wind was blowing gravel and sand into my lens and me off the course. Back this weekend for a two day HMSA event and with a little weather luck it will rain. Nothing like rain to liven up the photography.

  2. It was windy going into the Corkscrew, thought a couple of times my RSR moved over a foot when the gust came. Great Job once again Dennis and a very fun event….all us “TUBSTERS” had a great time ! Best, Steve

  3. Once again fantastic job on bringing the action so close .. You know a potographer has capturing the moment when you can smell the burning Avon rubber and there is simply no aroma as sweet as excess Caster EarL sizzling on a hot Hooker header.

  4. That’s the way to shoot racing – close ups of cars at speed, tight crops, and no fakey tilts. I’ve shot trackside at Laguna-Seca many times (before photogs were prohibited by fencing) and sometimes it was in pouring rain and my feet became mud balls. But racing in rain produces wonderful photoswhich are more easily sold to leading publications. Very satisfying shots!
