  1. The Triumph Trophy Trail was never used by James Dean, Dean died long before the Trophy Trail was launched. He may have been associated with the original Triumph TR5 Trophy which was available from the late 1940’s in either Rigid or Sprung Hub form, or the later version with Swinging Arm frame from 1954 on. The Trophy Trail did not arrive until the late 1960’s, it was an amalgam of Triumph engine and BSA Victor frame.
