The 2016 Chantilly Arts and Elegance Concours d’Elegance was staged 3-4 September in Chantilly, France on the grounds of the Domaine de Chantilly. The 3rd annual event confirmed its status as a top event, attracting 100 cars divided into 21 classes and 13,500 visitors to the Chantilly domain.

Organiser Patrick Peter said, “We brought to the third event all the experience we acquired in the two previous ones, as well as some innovations starting with the Supercar Rally on Saturday morning organised in the Chantilly region in which some twenty cars, hardly ever seen on the road, attracted a large crowd of spectators along the route. It’s an important link that we want to establish and develop with manufacturers of exceptional cars, which I hope to see more of at our event in 2017. Thanks to the awards given to the first two, our concours is now acknowledged as one of the best and most beautiful in the world. This is an important factor in the eyes of the manufacturers. We also have to attract a bigger crowd to reach a figure of 20,000 or 25,000 spectators in the next few years. It took several Le Mans Classics to achieve this number. Thus, I feel confident about the future of Chantilly Arts & Elegance Richard Mille.”

Best of Show at the Chantilly Concours d’Elegance 2016 was awarded to Jon Shirley’s 1938 Alfa Romeo 8C 2900B Lungo Berlinetta with coachwork by Touring.

In addition to Julien Mahiels’ photo gallery, we bring another series of images from the Chantilly Concours 2016 that give a wonderful impression of the exceptional atmosphere and quality entrants at the 3rd annual French event.
