1933 Rolls-Royce Phantom II Alpine TourerThe Salon Prive Concours d’Elegance 2011 will be held 22-24 June at Syon Park in London. Two big changes occur for Salon Prive in 2011. The event relocates to the 200-acre Syon Park, the London home of His Grace, The Duke of Northumberland and moves forward into June placing it right in the middle of the UK summer season events calendar.
This year’s Salon Prive Concours d’Elegance is headlined by a category entitled “100 Years of The Spirit of Ecstasy”, celebrating the first centenary of Rolls-Royce Motor Cars and its famous brand icon. The remaining seven classes cover road and race vehicles, from two to four wheels.
Salon Prive Concours d’Elegance 2011 – Featured Classes
Class A – 100 Years of The Spirit of Ecstasy
Class B – Grand Prix single seaters, up to and including the 1970s
Class C – Ferrari 250 Competizione
Class D – Grand Tourers of the 1930s and 1940s
Class E – Road Racers of the 1950s and 1960s
Class F – Oddballs: Unique designs and concepts with 3 or more wheels
Class G – Isle of Man TT Bikes 10 Decades of Bikes
Class H – Bikes from the Steve McQueen Era
Amongst the first entrants to Class A is a stunning example of a 1933 Rolls-Royce Phantom II Alpine Tourer plus a rare 1927 Phantom I Udaipur Hunting Car. Other notable entrants include a gorgeous Alfa 2500 Berlinetta (Class D) and Ferrari 250 Europa, to be presented in Class C.
The Salon Prive Concours d’Elegance 2011 will feature a new international line-up of judges, reflecting its world class status alongside events such as Villa d’Este, Amelia Island and Pebble Beach.

The Salon Prive Concours d’Elegance will once again be sponsored by Chubb Insurance and this year will host eight individual competition classes.
