On October 4-6, GTP cars will return to Monterey’s Laguna Seca racetrack when they headline the facility’s first annual U.S. Sports Car Invitational.
This inaugural spectator event will not only include a full field of ’80s and ’90s GTP and GT cars, but will also feature a full grid of historic Porsches from the Klub Sport Porsche group.
Other weekend activities will include a 40-car field organized by the Porsche Club of America (PCA), as well as a round of the World Super Cart Challenge that will feature motorcycle champions Wayne Rainey and Eddie Lawson battling it out in 250 cc shifter karts.
