Classic Team Lotus has completed the restoration of the chassis and running gear of the Lotus Type 56 chassis 3 that Graham Hill drove in the 1968 Indianapolis 500. With its unique resources of mechanics from the day, the original design drawings and photographic archive, Classic Team Lotus specializes in restoring cars to exact period specification. The project produced a reunion of the 1968 Team Lotus crew, including chief mechanic Dick Scammell, Arthur Birchall, Jim Pickles, Billy Cowe, Dougie Garner and Hughie Absalom. Sadly, another team member, Arthur Birchall, was unwell and could not attend.
