On September 8, the Vintage Racecar Journal was very proud to sponsor the first Gallery Opening reception at the International Motor Racing Research Library in Watkins Glen, New York.
The show featured the work of artist Thom Montanari and included oil paintings, pencil drawings and Giclee prints. On display in the main atrium and video theatre were works covering everything from Nino Farina in the Alfa Romeo Alfetta to Juan Pablo Montoya in the current Williams F1.
The International Motor Racing Research Library hopes to open a dedicated Motorsports Gallery in the future. For more information go to www.racingarchives.org
