On September 20-22, the Sarthe will play host to the Le Mans Classic, a 24-Hour race event for historic sports cars to be held on the full, long course.
Organized by Peter Auto, creator of the famed French rally Tour Auto, the event will feature competition between five car teams (one car representing each decade of Le Mans history). Each car within a team will race a total of four stints in a 24-hour period, with the overall winners being determined by the best aggregate time.
