Automobili Lamborghini recently launched their latest vehicle, the Huracán Sterrato. It gives a fresh new meaning to the sports car concept as they feature the car’s unmatched capabilities which is featured in three different extreme sports: windsurfing, mountain biking, and paragliding which was shown through three different teaser videos.
The first video, about mountain biking, shows the Huracán Sterrato conquering the dirt tracks of the gorgeous Tuscia area located between Lazlo and Tuscany. Challenging the sports car was mountain biker and the Italian, European, and World Eliminator champion Gaia Tormena. Also an Italian Enduro champion, she was raised in the Aosta Valley and still currently lives there. The video showed her going up against the Huracán Sterrato in a really close race.
Matteo Iachino made his mark in history when he became the first Italian windsurfing World Champion back in 2016. In 2021, Bianca Alabau claimed victory at the Défi Wind Superstars 2021. The two renowned windsurfers are real-life couples who share a passion for conquering the waves. With their eye out for another record to break, the couple were featured in the next film that was shot along the coast located between Petrosino and Mazzara Del Vallo, featuring its beautiful sandy roads and breathtaking Sicilian scenery.
The third and last video, but definitely not the least, had the Huracán Sterrato speeding through the routes on Mount Etna, the tallest active volcano in Europe standing 3,329.6 meters or 10,924 feet tall. What makes this feat impressive is that the routes it traversed are normally only followed by special vehicles. The video showed the off-road supercar seemingly racing Maud Perrin. At 21 years old, Perrin is a French and Dutch paragliding pilot, a French champion, claiming the gold medal during the 2022 Women’s Arco World Tour.
