The seventh edition of Le Mans Classic will be held on 4-6 July 2014 at the full 38-turn, 13.629 km (8.469 mi) Circuit de la Sarthe in Le Mans, France.
In less than eighteen months a field of nearly 500 historic cars will start the 2014 Le Mans Classic to relive the great years of the legendary Le Mans 24 Hours. For three days, some of the most beautiful collector cars will race each other on the Big Le Mans Circuit and relive the glorious hours of the mythical 24 Hours of Le Mans.
Similar to previous events, cars from clubs, exhibitors and a huge crowd are expected to turn up to enjoy the on- and off-track entertainment. Organizers ACO and Peter Auto promised several innovations, “to continue to surprise and delight the crowd and ensure the long-term future of the event.”
The 2012 running of the Le Mans Classic exceeded all the expectations of the organisers, as a banner crowd of 109,000 people braved unsettled weather conditions to see the different battles among the 450 entrants. One of the major attractions of the sixth event were the 8000 cars from 170 clubs representing 80 makes, which made a big contribution to the overall success of the meeting.
