At the 1975 edition of the fabled 24 Heures du Mans, Jacky Ickx and Derek Bell teamed to take thhis Gulf Mirage GR8 to overall victory, Bell’s first of five and the second of six for Ickx. In creating this work of art, Chenard employed pen and ink and markers on light blue archival paper so that he used no blue in the 12-inch by 12-inch artwork, the original of which is available for sale.
