Sir Stirling Moss has been confirmed as the Honored Guest at this year’s 30th renewal of the Lime Rock Historic Festival, scheduled for the Connecticut circuit on Labor Day weekend, August 31–September 3. The legendary British driver will speak and answer questions at Friday evening’s Participants Gala, and will also be available throughout the weekend for autograph sessions, spectator meet-and-greets and one-on-one media interviews. He’ll also help with judging for the “Sunday in the Park” Concours. A number of cars with which he scored victories in some of the world’s greatest races will also be in attendance at the Festival.
Organizers are expecting more than 300 vintage racecars to take part in on-track activities on Friday, Saturday and Monday, with more than 500 cars attending the Sunday in the Park Concours & Gathering of the Clubs.
