This year’s reinstated French Grand Prix, set for the weekend of June 22-24 at the Circuit Paul Ricard, will feature two support races for the new Masters Endurance Legends series that has been initiated by Masters Historic Racing.
asters Endurance Legends is a new series for Le Mans prototype and GT cars from 1995–2012, and will add the French GP support race to its six-race schedule for 2018 that also includes races at Imola, Brands Hatch, Silverstone, Nürburgring, Spa and Dijon. The race at Paul Ricard will include cars that starred at Le Mans, Daytona, Sebring and other classic endurance tracks around the world.
Paul Ricard is known territory for many of the recent Le Mans prototypes and GTs, as the track was part of the ELMS and ISRS calendars. Today, the 4 Hours of Le Castellet is a permanent fixture on the ELMS calendar.
