It is a given that retired race drivers have a propensity for telling fish stories. The late Dick Guldstrand was not immune from this, as his tribute interview in the latest issue (November 2015) demonstrates. In it he makes the statement: “Did really well in the Trans-Am; won a number of Trans-Am races because Camaros weren’t running at the time.”
