No one could envisage the ultimate success of the Mustang. Carroll Shelby brought the car greater fame when he created the GT350 in 1965, becoming popular with both racers and race-watchers. This photograph was taken in 1984 at an event in California, celebrating the 20th anniversary of the introduction of Ford’s Mustang. More than 700 vintage Mustangs came to Burbank for a day-long car display and picnic.
