The Association Vincennes en Anciennes will organize the 16th annual Traversee de Paris on January 10, 2016, the largest gathering of vintage cars in the streets of the French capital that is expected to draw some 700 vintage vehicles — cars, motorcycles, bicycles, tractors and buses.
This novel 28-kilometer tour of Paris will showcase the old driving Heritage A route, starting from the Esplanade of the Château de Vincennes between 8 and 8:45 a.m., then criss-crossing the capital, past all the city’s famous landmarks. Beyond the participants, a trio of buses will be available to transport interested members of the general public along the route, but reservations are required as the number of available seats is limited.
The Crossing is a real attraction for the curious and nostalgic, with all vehicles required to be more than 30 years old. After the tour, the participating vehicles will return to the Esplanade of the Château de Vincennes around noon, with some of them remaining on display until about 3:30 p.m. For complete information, please visit www.vincennesenanciennes.com
