For the past twenty years, racer Ange Barde has competed on European, North American and South-East Asian circuits, racing various Ferrari, Porsche and Maserati racecars. In 2008, Barde founded his own fine watch manufacture in Geneva, Switzerland, and now merges his two lifelong passions in a new line of limited edition, motorsport-inspired timepieces.
With the Evo 1 line of watches, each feature of this limited edition chronograph reflects the DNA of racing as interpreted by Ange’s racing experience: a bezel in the shape of a racing exhaust case; the traditional spokes of a racecar steering wheel replicated into the arms of the watch; the disc brake revolving within its caliper representing the ongoing movement of the seconds; the perforated pedals of a racecar serving as the pushers to start and stop the chronograph; the racing tire tread inside the rubber strap and the rotor representing a sports car rim. Technical features of the Evo1 include: a 46-mm x 18.6-mm black stainless steel bezel and case, with middle case in carbon fiber; sapphire glass; water resistance to 5-atm.
