Each August, the 18th fairway of the Pebble Beach Golf Links became the meeting point for the world’s most significant automobiles, and 2026 marked a milestone edition of that tradition. On August 16, 2026, the Pebble Beach Concours d’Elegance celebrated its 75th anniversary, drawing collectors, designers, and enthusiasts from around the globe to the Monterey Peninsula for what has long been regarded as the premier event on the collector car calendar.

Since its founding in 1950, the Concours built a reputation for hosting first-ever and once-in-a-lifetime gatherings, pairing the world’s most influential designers with the cars they created. The 75th anniversary revisited several of these historic gatherings while introducing new features and classes to the show field, placing particular emphasis on the event’s origins in road racing. In her Letter from the Chairman published ahead of the event, Sandra Button noted that the 75th celebration would look back to the Concours’ beginnings in road racing while introducing its first class dedicated to Japanese Motorsports.
