Historic Sportscar Racing (HSR) has added the return of the Sebring Historics to its previously announced 2013 race schedule, stretching its season to six events at five tracks in the American Southeast. The Sebring event, scheduled for December 5 through 8, caps a year that kicks off at Palm Beach International Raceway on Valentine’s Day weekend, with races for the usual groups as well as a 45-minute night race and a Small Bore Enduro. On the last weekend of April, the HSR folks will visit Road Atlanta for the annual “The Mitty” weekend, where Can-Am will be featured and David Hobbs will serve as Grand Marshal, then return to the north Georgia facility in mid-September for the Atlanta Historics. A month later it’s down to the Savannah Speed Classic on Hutchinson Island as part of the Hilton Head Island Motoring Festival and Concours d’Elegance, before going to Daytona International Speedway with the Daytona Historics featuring the Bob Snodgrass 2-hour Endurance Challenge.
