During RM Auctions’ two-day sale in London’s Battersea Park 120 exclusive collector cars sold for a spectacular $34,085,045.00, an impressive 90.3 percent sell-through rate.
The top selling lot over the two-day sale was the 1957 Maserati 250S from the Laidlaw Competition Car Collection. Chassis no. 2432, an ex-Carroll Shelby and Jim Hall car and the only 250S originally built with a 2.5-liter engine, sold for $3,340,960.00. Another big seller from the Laidlaw Collection was the 1965 Porsche 904/6 Carrera GTS, which sold for $1,965,000.
