Mecum Auctions’ inaugural Los Angeles classic and collector-car auction realized more than $9.3 million in sales in late February. Despite record-setting rainfall across Southern California, a total of 283 vehicles were sold during the two-day auction, and more than 100 pieces of Road Art® left Pomona with new owners as well.
Sports cars posted the top three dollar numbers at the auction, led by a 2006 Ford GT that hammered for $305,000, followed by two Ferraris, a 458 Italia and a 430 Scuderia Spider that fetched $230,000 and $215,000, respectively.
