Forty Years ago this October, John Surtees added the Formula One Drivers Championship to his already impressive list of World Motorcycle Championships. In recognition of this amazing achievement, Surtees will be honored at a star-filled gala dinner that will also benefit the U.K.’s NARA, the charity assisting individuals with respiratory disorders.
The dinner, to be held June 4 at the Sywell Aerodrome in Northampton, will include such racing legends as Sir Jack Brabham, Sir Stirling Moss, Sir Jackie Stewart, Roy Salvadori, Dan Gurney, Tony Brooks, Phil Hill, Niki Lauda, Jody Scheckter, John Watson, Alan Jones, Rene Arnoux, Henri Pescarolo and many more.
