Competitors preparing for this summer’s Silverstone Classic, set for July 29-31, are being offered an opportunity to test their cars in advance for free. The Silverstone Classic is not only the world’s largest classic motor racing festival, but also the world’s biggest race meeting. The packed program features a full spectrum of historic motor sport and regularly attracts more than 1,000 race entries.
Those preparing to compete at this year’s Classic are being given the chance to fine-tune their cars and/or familiarize themselves with the full Silverstone Grand Prix Circuit during the Classic’s official annual Media Preview on Wednesday April 27.
“We introduced free testing at the Media Preview last year as part of our 25th anniversary celebrations, as we wanted to give something back to all those competitors who play such an important role in making the Classic the huge success it is today,” explained Nick Wigley, CEO of organizer Goose Live Events. “The offer proved so popular that we are repeating it this year.”
Entries will be accepted on a first come, first served basis and application forms are available by visiting www.silverstoneclassic.com/competitor-zone.
