As anyone can see from my picture, I am no spring chicken. Also I am currently unattached. That used to mean Sad Old Geezer, now it means Silver Singleton. Shazam!
My son first drove a car, a Toyota MR-2, in 1985, when he was 14. It took him 26 years to get a license, and so I am no longer the family chauffeur. A Mazda MX-5 Miata has replaced the Ford Focus, that being more appropriate for a Silver Singleton. I would have preferred an Aston Martin, but I chose the wrong career.
