In a move which has lit the auction world abuzz, David Gooding has left his position as Managing Driector of Christie’s Fine Car Division to take up a position as President of catalogue auctions at RM Classics.
Said Mr. Gooding, “There is no question that RM is the most dynamic firm in the industry, and I am excited about the opportunity to strengthen and build a team which will achieve the best possible auction results with exemplary service.”
In his new role, Gooding, will be responsible for global operations of RM Auctions’ catalogue sales division. This includes managing and overseeing major consignments, catalogue production, marketing, publicity, client services and auction production.
