Bruce Meyer, founding chairman of the Petersen Automotive Museum and renowned collector, has been recognized as an “Automotive Icon” and will be honored at the 30th Annual Dana Point Concours d’Elegance scheduled for June 23-24, 2012, at the St. Regis Monarch Beach Resort. Long regarded as an automotive legend, Meyer serves on the board of the Nethercutt Collection, Mullin Automotive Museum, LeMay Museum and the Petersen Automotive Museum, as well as participating in vintage races and rallies around the world. The theme for this year’s Dana Point Concours will be the “Legends of Le Mans: Racing in the Sixties” and the event will also feature a Private Collection Tour, Beach Cruisers Show, an art exhibit as well as children’s activities.
