Wheels on Walls

If you’re a reader of this magazine, then chances are good that you are already something of a connoisseur of automotive photography. Beautiful automotive photography is certainly an art form onto its own, but when that art is combined with the capture of a piece of significant history, there is something all the more special about it.

This month’s featured Web site—as the name implies—is devoted to making these automotive works of art available to hang on your den or garage wall. However, beside the obvious commercial appeal of being able to order any number of world-class photos online, this site also doubles as a fascinating look back through history. Not only are there galleries of photos from such noted photographers as Jesse Alexander, Tom Burnside, Pete Lyons, Bob Chapman, Richard Dole, and the Klemantaski Collection, but each photo also includes an extensive caption that nicely tells the tale of what is transpiring in the picture.
