Racecars, raceways, races, innovations, news, controversy, history, drama, beauty, excitement, emotion; a single day at the track produces far more than a single enthusiast can harvest, and we haven’t yet mentioned racers.
Its human facet is the sport’s most colorful, complex and captivating, yet throughout my years of race reporting I often felt I wasn’t doing justice to the people.
