Race Retro announced that Silverstone Auctions will be its new auction partner for the 2012 historic motorsport show when it returns to Stoneleigh Park, Coventry, from 24-26 February.
Race Retro will be the first time Silverstone Auctions has conducted an auction away from its Silverstone home. Nick Whale, Managing Director of Silverstone Auctions, said, “As a Midlands company, we are very proud of our roots and delighted to support a local event, especially when that event is the UK’s biggest historic motorsport show.”
The auction will be open for viewing all day on Friday 24 February and Saturday 25 morning. The sale will then start on Saturday 25 2012 lunchtime with the automobilia before moving on to classic and historic motor racing and competition cars and motorcycles.
