On the whole, racing-grade driving shoes tend to have two drawbacks: 1) Because they are lightweight, they tend not to be very comfortable to walk in; and 2) They tend to be so garish that if you can stand walking in them, you run the risk of being mistaken for either a professional wrestler or a circus performer.
