VR: How did you get your start in automobiles?
MS: Well, you know, I was thinking about this and maybe we should start off with when I was a kid before I had a driver’s license. So how did I get started in automobiles? It was a different world. I was born in 1934. That meant in 1946, I was 12 years old and I, and all of my friends, learned to drive at that stage.
