Captive Readership

Dear Editor,

I must share a couple things with you. Due to firefighting injuries/wear and tear I had one hip replaced in late June and the other late July. Needless to say, this slowed me down quite a bit. I have always, ALWAYS enjoyed Vintage Racecar and, of late Vintage Roadcar; digesting them a single article at a time, truly s-l-o-w reading to savor each sentence, especially now, as I’ve been anchored to my Lay-Z-Boy for the last couple months. I force myself to read other minutiae, like W.E.B. Griffin and Tom Clancy, so I don’t read all your work cover to cover in a day.
