Your excellent June issue included Pete Lyons’ review of the happenings while Jim Hall was honored during the RRDC dinner at Long Beach. One of Jim’s recollections was how he used the engine of his Chevy pickup truck when the Chevy V8 in his Lister conked out in the prelim at Hondo, Texas, allowing him to take the Lister to victory in the Hondo feature.
