This August 7-8, the British Automobile Racing Club (BARC) will host the Lola Heritage International Sports Car Challenge race on a rare unlimited noise day at England’s historic Thruxton circuit. The event is the first race to be announced by the freshly launched Lola Heritage department based at the Lola factory in Huntingdon, with several more similar outings remaining to be confirmed for 2010.
Lolas scored several key victories at Thruxton during the glory days of the ’60s and ’70s, including the 1969 Embassy Trophy won by Brian Redman in a T70 MkIIIB. Not long thereafter, driving the same model, 1967 World Champion Denny Hulme claimed the Kodak Trophy.
A vast selection of various Lola models are expected to be on hand at the event, and for further information please contact Lola on +44 (0) 1480 451301 or [email protected]
