It would be interesting to ask any historic car enthusiast what picture enters their minds when the Bugatti marque is mentioned.
Perhaps some would think of the Bugatti T41 or to use its more widely known name, the Royale, a Bugatti of some notoriety of which just six were built. With a wheelbase of 169.3 inches and overall length of 21 feet it needed every cubic centimeter of its 12.7 liter, straight-8 to propel its occupants in the stately style required. Not only was it one of the largest cars built, but also the most expensive.
