Gordon McCall Joins Barrett-Jackson

Gordon McCall with two fast ones - Air Force pilot and Shadow Can-AmBarrett-Jackson announced that Gordon McCall joined the auction company to help launch and maintain its newly created “Salon Offering Collection” division.

McCall is well-known in the classic car community as Co-Founder and Motorsports Director of the Quail, a Motorsports Gathering and the Quail, a Motorcycle Gathering events. McCall has also served as a Judge and Field Coordinator at the Pebble Beach Concours d’Elegance for more than 25 years, in addition to founding his eponymous McCall Motorworks Revival event held each year during Monterey Week.

The Salon Offering Collection is a new portion of the Barrett-Jackson Auctions that offers buyers high-end and highly-sought classic vehicles with reserve-prices, representing a return to the auction company’s 41-year roots as Barrett-Jackson was founded on selling classics.

“Gordon is uniquely qualified to work with these high-end classics and their consigners and buyers,” said Craig Jackson, Chairman and CEO of Barrett-Jackson. “His decades of experience combined with the people he knows will help to ensure that Barrett-Jackson will always provide buyers with the finest vehicles on the market.

Barrett-Jackson said McCall will work with both buyers and sellers to promote the Salon Offering Collection and add his 30 years of expertise and knowledge to the new entity.

Gordon McCall’s professional affiliations continue to evolve around his motorsports, motorcycle, and bicycling interests. Board of Director appointments include: Member of the Executive Board of Directors for the Laguna Seca Raceway, Co-Founder and Chairman Emeritus for the Naval Postgraduate School Cycling Club, and Member of the Board of Directors for the California Highway Patrol 11-99 Foundation which assists widows and orphans of CHP officers killed in the line of duty.
