The Gooding and Company Scottsdale 2014 Auction was held January 17-18 at the Scottsdale Fashion Square in Scottsdale, Arizona, resulting in more than $49.4 million in total sales and a 94% sell-through rate. The 7th annual Gooding Arizona auction saw eleven world auction records set, with six cars sold above the $2 million mark and 13 cars sold above $1 million.

Leading the two-day 2014 Gooding Scottsdale auction was a dark blue 1958 Ferrari 250 GT Series 1 Cabriolet that sold for $6,160,000, a world auction record for a Ferrari 250 GT Series 1 Cabriolet.

Another notable result was the 1997 McLaren F1 GTR Longtail, 021R, finished in white, blue and red FINA livery that sold for $5,280,000, a world auction record for a McLaren F1 GTR. This car was the first GTR Longtail race winner, including wins at Hockenheim and Helsinki, as well as several other podium finishes.

Other world auction records set included the 1973 Ferrari Dino GT at $473,000, a 1954 Alfa Romeo 1900 C SS Coupe at $649,000, a 1971 Alfa Romeo Montreal at $176,000, a 1955 Lancia Aurelia B24S Spider America at $1,815,000 and the 1967 Ferrari 330 GTS at $2,062,500, among others.
