In response to the repaving project scheduled to commence at Watkins Glen in August, the Glenora Wine Cellars U.S. Vintage Grand Prix presented by Welliver has been moved from its usual September date to the weekend of July 24-26 — but just for this year. The event’s featured racecar marque this year is Chevron Race Cars, with Chevron cars participating in the New York Governor’s Cup Race.
Also in the spotlight will be Alfa Romeo and MG, as “Alfas at The Glen 2015” will feature examples of the popular Italian marque taking part in both their own race groups and the Nuvolari Cup contest, while MG owners will celebrate the 61st anniversary of the Collier Brothers Memorial Race by vying for the Collier Cup.
