• The second annual Arizona Concours d’Elegance has announced four icons of automotive history will appear as featured classes during the January 11, 2015, event at the historic Arizona Biltmore Resort. The Arizona Concours will include: The classic American luxury brand Pierce-Arrow; Competition Ferraris (pre-1965); The cars of Carrozzeria Ghia, celebrating the 100th anniversary of the renowned Italian design house; and a gathering of cars once owned by architect Frank Lloyd Wright, famed architect and automotive enthusiast. • A 1927 Bentley 3-Litre Speed Model Tourer was the star of the show at the Bonhams auction at the RAF Museum in Hendon on April 28th, selling for £225,500—50 percent over its high estimate of £150,000. First unveiled at the 1919 Olympia Motor Exhibition, W.O. Bentley’s 3-Litre model would become a legend in motor racing history and has become the archetypal vintage sports car.
