The Vintage Sports Car Club will organize SeeRed an ambitious program of races at Donington Park on September 11–12. The program will pay tribute to the long, prestigious racing record of Ferrari. The event coincides with the Italian Grand Prix, but the VSCC promises that there will be more Formula 1 Ferraris at the Derbyshire circuit than at Monza.
A spectacular press preview in March served to whet the appetite for this event featuring the rare running of the ex-Scuderia Ferrari 1935 Alfa Romeo Bimotore, the twin-engine car raced in the Tripoli Grand Prix by Tazio Nuvolari. Also present for the preview were the 1952 Ascari Ferrari F2 car, and Michael Schumacher’s 2000 F1 car, which won that year’s Brazilian Grand Prix. For more details e-mail [email protected]
