Parabolica Publishing and Vintage Racecar are pleased to announce that noted racing historian and author John Zimmermann has assumed the newly created position of Associate Editor. With over 30 years of motorsport journalism experience with titles such as AutoWeek, Road & Track, Formula, On Track, and most recently as Editor of Racer, Zimmermann brings both a wealth of experience and a deep understanding of racing and its history.
According to Vintage Racecar Publisher and Editor Casey Annis, “Vintage Racecar has enjoyed so much growth in the past few years, that we’ve identified the need for more editorial depth here at our U.S. main office. John’s combination of racing knowledge and editorial experience made him really our ideal choice. Not only is it very exciting for us to have him join our family, but I think his contributions will also be viewed as a very valuable addition by our readers, as well.”
Zimmermann commented, “Ever since finishing my recent book on Dan Gurney’s Eagles, I’ve been seeking an ongoing involvement in the sport that would enable me to utilize my skills and experience fully. I am, therefore, very happy to be joining Parabolica Publishing as associate editor for Vintage Racecar, a publication that embodies the high standards of journalism and presentation that I have tried to cultivate during my career in this industry.”
