The Circuit at Grand Bayou near Donaldsville, Louisiana, has opened as the Gulf South’s only Motorsport Resort and Country Club. Located about an hour from New Orleans International Airport, the current 14-turn, 1.8-mile track hosts the Gulf Coast Racing Series, and is positioned to draw racers, racing schools, and corporate events year round.
Expansion, however, is already under way, with an 18-unit Garage and Auto Storage Building with a large Spectator Deck in progress, and individual townhouse lots set to be offered to investors, members, and the general public. A construction of a new 2.3-mile, state-of-the-art racetrack is scheduled to begin in summer 2010, with future plans including a clubhouse and condominiums.
