Mecum Auctions will be featuring more than 3,000 vehicles at its January 6-15 sale in Kissimmee, Florida, including a 72-car offering from the Bobby Williams Collection that will be offered at no reserve on Sunday, January 8.
Williams’ collection is comprised of mostly American-made cars, from early 20th-century Fords and Buicks to ‘70s Mopar muscle cars as he has never limited his collection to any specific year, make or model, but sought out vehicles that remain in as-new condition.
Perhaps the top lot of the collection is a 1954 Chevrolet Corvette Roadster (above, Alex Bellus photo courtesy of Mecum Auctions) with the 235 cubic-inch Blue Flame Six engine, one of only 3,640 produced, but there’s also a 1907 Cadillac Model K, and two 1970 Plymouth Superbirds.
In addition to the 3,000 vehicles on offer, the 10-day auction will also offer thousands of Road Art items, memorabilia, petroliana, and rare engines and parts, with Monday, January 9, reserved exclusively for these pieces. For complete information, please visit www.Mecum.com
