The 15th annual Lindsay to Brighton Run, an all-tarmac Tour Rally organized by Ontario‘s Burlwood Motorsports Club, will traverse the autumn-bedecked back roads of the Canadian province on Saturday, October 7, 2017.
It’s an event that has become a yearly tradition for many because it encourages participants to ditch their daily routines and absorb the beauty of the country lanes, resplendent in fall colors and alive with resonant exhaust notes. Those taking part will be able to breathe in the crisp scents of autumn as falling leaves greet their arrival, encouraging them to enjoy the beauty of fall in Southern Ontario.
Activities begin with registration at 11 a.m. at the Little Britain Motor Company Works, 205 St. George Street, Lindsay, Ontario, with the first car scheduled to hit the road at 11:30 and subsequent departures at one-minute intervals.
This event is not a race nor a Time/Speed/Distance Rally, but an enjoyable jaunt in the country, guided by route directions. At day’s end, participants will assemble at The Whistling Duck (formerly Dougall’s on the Bay), a wonderful bayside restaurant and pub in Brighton.
