The Classic Sports Racing Group season finale, scheduled for Halloween weekend, October 30-November 1, on Thunderhill’s three-mile East Course, will feature a Winkelmann and Titan Reunion, with a special race open only to Winkelmann and Titan cars. Bob Winkelmann will be in attendance, as well as former Winkelmann employee Paul Hasselgren and possibly several others. Andy Antipas of the Titan Registry is working to ensure a strong Titan presence as well, with ex-Titan racer Tony Trimmer expected to attend. Entries have been received from as far away as Colorado and New Mexico.
Beyond the Winkelmann-Titan focus, the event will also feature CSRG’s usual group of around 120 cars, and the organization’s annual awards dinner will be held Saturday night at the Veterans Memorial Hall in Willows, California. For further information please visit www.csrgracing.org
